Timur Aliev is an Azeri-Russian director based in Canada. He works in the space between realism and the surreal, using light and rhythm to shape the emotional tone of his films. Coming from a background in lighting and editing, he brings a grounded visual sensitivity to every project.

Timur launched his directing career with a series of campaigns for Booster Juice, developing a distinct surreal-commercial look through precise lighting, atmospheric set design, and robotic-arm choreography. His work has since aired on Canadian national broadcast, including placements during Super Bowl and NHL programming, establishing him as a rising voice in visually innovative commercials.
